13&14 year old division
13-14U Baseball - Fall 2008 Welcome to T&C 13-14u baseball. I am Rodney Matthews your 2008 Fall Baseball Coordinator. This program is yet another gradual step up for many of the kids moving up from our 11 & 12-year-old division. Full baseball rules apply, the field is larger, the game is longer, and the players are honing their skills in anticipation of entering high school baseball. Fall ball although we keep score and are competitive, it is geared more to instruction and having fun. The 13-14U teams are selected by tryouts (if needed) and draft. Coaches are allowed to protect 6 players per team with parent consent. The protected players are not required to tryout. Other players who do not tryout will be considered non-tradable hat picks. Tryouts are scheduled for September 6. The season will begin in September and conclude the end of October, with 8 weeks of games. The games will be mostly played on Saturdays. We interlock with other area leagues, (Georgetown, Pflugerville, LCP, other area leagues may be included.) Half the games will be played at T&C; the other half will be played at area fields. If you have Coaching experience and are interested in Coaching this level please contact me. Each Coach and Assistant will be required to attend Kids Sports Network clinic, and at least one Coaches training clinic provided by T&C. On-line Registration begins July 7.
